Utah?

Hi everyone!

When I woke up yesterday, I thought I was in Utah! There is tons of snow everywhere here. It snowed a lot that everything shut down. I have never driven in the snow before so I let sister Anderson drives. Today, the roads are pretty icy. Since it doesn't snow a lot here so they don't have a lot of equipment to deal with snow.

Last week I got to go on exchange with my sister training leaders in the cougar mountain area. So basically we go to their area for 24 hours and learn from them. It was really fun. My gps took me into the wilderness....it was really scary but luckily we are back here safe and sound!

ummmm something news... we have more people who interested in learning about the gospel!! One family wanted to feed us so they will have us over for dinner and lesson. They will make us Persian food, I'm really excited for that! we also have some people that we are teaching right now showed up at church, it was really great. They both had a good time during the testimony meeting. The spirit was so strong. My companion and I fast and pray that we will have someone at church and our prayer was answer!

Last Saturday, we got to go to the baptism but the cool thing was the baptism was performed in Spanish.. Everyone spoke Spanish excepted me.... so one elder had to translate for me.

Here are some pictures!

Week 3, transfer 4?

Hello!

This week is my third week! Oh my goodness, time passes by so fast. I can't believe that I'm half way to this transfer now. Ummmm....what's news?

If everyone still remember the talk from President Uchtdorf that he gave during  the general women's session last year. He was talking about the forth floor, last door and how the missionary found his wife and her family. We were knocking in the apartment complex and that talk came to my mind. So my companion and I thought instead of knocking the first floor, first door, why don't we do the forth floor, last door and we might find someone that ready to receive the gospel. So we did...... the door slammed right in front of our face... Err, probably the next door, same result. We kept going until we reached to the first floor, first door.. We found a guy who was taught by other missionaries and still interested in learning more! He just moved from Bothell. He asked if anyone send us here... we were like.... ummmm, no actually but probably yes! He just got home right before we knocked on his door! If we started first floor, first door, we would have missed him!

I know that if we listen to the spirit, he will tell us what to do, where to go and who we should talk to. The same thing apply to everyone, the spirit will guide us in our daily life. Listen carefully, and act when you feel the prompting of the spirit!

I only have one picture this week. lame right...? haha

Heart Attack?

Hi everyone!

I have a hard time choosing my topic for this email again haha so I spent like 5 mins trying to decide what it should be. Anyway, this week was great! it didn't really snow this week because it wasn't cold enough for the snow so it rain instead, like soaky snowflake... does it make sense?

We went to do service again at the park, this time we were digging river! It was super fun. I love zone service, it is a great opportunity to work out. We also went to do service at Bee's house again, making Thai desert. We committed one of our investigators to live the Word of Wisdom. We walked out with hundreds of tea. It was awesome!

We also had a Persian food yesterday with the family that we were teaching.
Nothing much really going on this week except the fact that next week will be the last week of this transfer. This is crazy! Time flew by!

Oh we also did heart attack to some of our members, it was great! Can't wait to see their reaction when they see the door haha.

We went to see the Chiropractic because my companion hurt her back. It was really interesting. He pop my back for free and it was weird when he did it haha.

Last week of transfer 4

Hello!

This week is the last week of this transfer which means that the transfer is coming up! ewwwwww.... I think I will stay here another transfer but you never know. President Schofield doesn't have a pattern of how he transfer missionaries so we will see. I'm excited for that. I misunderstood that we will have 12 sisters coming but we only have 3 or 4 coming this transfer.

We had zone conference last Tuesday on Valentine's day so we got to celebrate it with other missionaries. It was super fun and spiritual. We were focusing on having faith on finding. Sometime when people keep slamming the door in our face, it could be depressing but we know that there will be someone that ready to here the gospel. We might have to knock hundreds of doors to find that one person but I think it is worth to do. We also start going back to downtown Kirkland to do contacting and it was great! We had a lot of great conversation with people there.

We also had member missionary fireside last Sunday at Redmond Stake Center. Two converts bore their testimonies and told us their story. One of them was Jehovah Witness and he was abandon by his family when they found out that he has a book of Mormon. His testimony is so strong that he decided to stand strong of what he believe and decided to get baptized.

I'm running out of time again! Love you all <3
