Likit just got baptized last Friday! I was asked to speak on the topic of the Holy Ghost in Thai. It went super great and the spirit was there at the baptism. I taught him Thai for four months and a half before I came to Edmonds and he agreed to be baptized again after I left. I was so glad that he chose this way because there is no other way to go back and live with our Heavenly Father again. It is not the end when we get baptized. The scripture taught us that we still need to "press forward (and) feasting upon the word of Christ." We still need to study scripture, come to church every week and pray often so that we can continue to learn and live in the gospel.
We went to do service at a member house on Thursday but this time the elders were in charge of the service. We asked them what pants should we wear because we didn't know what we were going to do. They told us to wear shorts since it will be a lot of digging, cutting and etc. So we did follow what they said. When we got there... they told us that we had to go into the blackberry bushes to cut down trees that were too tall for the Puget Sound view. Both me and sister Martin had a lot of scratches from the blackberry thorns (and the elders also). We learnt that when elders tell us to wear shorts, wear jeans!
zone conference!
the wilderness in the back of us was where we went to cut down trees
missionaries love Likit and Bee! because they always feed us lunch when we go do service at their house.
