TEMPLE DAY!

Hi everyone!

Last week was super crazy busy and this week will be the same.... I made a note of things that happen last week because I always forget to mention something that I want to include in my email so this email will be a little longer than a usual one.

We went on exchange with our sister training leader in Ravena park ward, Seattle North area. It was so much fun because I got to go back to my old area! (I served in Seattle Young Single Adult ward that covered the Ravena part area) We went to UW and took the lightrail to capital hill to do contacting. It was like a flashback to my first and second transfers. Can't believe this is my 6th transfer already.

On Friday we had a zone meeting and they gave a training on pride and charity. The talk was "Be aware of Pride" by president Ezra. (available on LDS.org)
He gave 3 kinds of pride
1. Man VS. Man - When we look down to people or thinking that we are better than others
2. Man Vs. God  - when we put our will against god's will
3. Man Vs. Self - when we beat ourselves up and think low about ourselves.
The way to cure this pride is to have charity and love not just to people around us but to ourselves also.
Yesterday, we drove passed a guy that looked just like elder Galloway. Both of us had the same feeling that we should stop and talk to him. So we decided to turn around, park the car and start chasing him. He walked so fast that we had to run after him. so if you were just happen to drive pass us, there were two crazy sister missionaries chasing the guy that had no idea he was chased after. Unfortunately that he wasn't interested but on the way back we ran into our member that trying to decide if she wants to go on a mission or not. So we took her out knocking doors with us instead! If we didn't run after that guy, we would never ran into that member! Sometime we don't fully understand his plan but he has a plan for us and it works perfect if we follow him!

We got to go to the temple today and it was so beautiful! I am so grateful to have the temple in our mission!
